Senior Mechanical design engineering (code: MECH 01)

scope:

• Work on a range of mechanical design

• Produce and maintain engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software as well

• Produce designs and drawings for mechanical systems, HVAC with schematic diagram and sequence of operation, Plumbing with riser diagram and isometric, Fire Fighting with schematic riser and most remote area isometric, LPG and special gases.

• produce Bill of Materials

• Ensure all drawings and deliverables are checked in compliance with the project and company quality standards

• Execute designs following the mechanical design criteria for the project as well as defined design standards, codes, and regulations

• Ensure coordination of all mechanical interfaces with designers and engineers of other disciplines

• Partake in project and workload decisions

Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum of (8) years of experience in Mechanical Design Projects especially in GCC region

• Knowledge with Saudi SBC Codes and RC standards .

• Cordial relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design intent.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, word processing and presentation programs.

• Proficiency in program calculation like HAP and Elite.

• Detailed knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, HTM, IPC, SBC, standards, policies, codes and procedures.

• Full knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirements, knowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements.

• Developed knowledge of Sustainable Design principles.

• Ability and will to update knowledge.

• Ability and will to mentor and provide support to junior subordinate staff members.

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken
