Multinational Company in the field of PVC and Electrical Cables requires a Senior Foreign Procurement Specialist who will perform the following duties:

• Cooperate with Planning Department to achieve preset production plan.

• Develop competitive local and international supply sources.

• Negotiate prices, delivery, and payment and freight terms.

• Prepare price comparisons and analyze vendor offers to ensure compliance with company targets.

• Request Vendor samples and follow up testing results with Quality Department.

• Source new material as requested by Technical Department and obtain vendor Technical Drawings& Specifications for evaluation.

• Prepare foreign purchase orders; solicit bids, review and process requisitions for materials and merchandise.

• Issue purchase orders as requested to ensure timely delivery and sufficient quality, quantity and cost.

• Monitor shipments to ensure timely arrival and resolve possible material delays.

• Trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods.

• Issue purchase reports to reflect status of pending orders.

• Supply Research and Development Department with alternate materials, Chemicals or techniques which will result in company savings.
